I gained a ton of experience and had my biggest art breakthroughs with my first “big piece”, which is on my old favourite vacation spot—Lombok, a small island near Bali. We visited there a lot pre-kids and were actually on the verge of purchasing land right before the pandemic struck.
This piece holds a special place in my heart because it takes me back to a time of freedom before everything got hectic—like hopping on a fishing boat to snap photos of hubby surfing with the sun on my back and a coconut water waiting on the beach for me.
